A used Panamanian stamp issued in 1960 commemorating the Instituto de Rehabilitación de Menores — a state institution for the rehabilitation of juvenile offenders. The design features an engraved scene of outdoor activity: children and young people engaged in agricultural or physical labour within a fenced compound, with a low building, flagpole, and palm trees visible in the background. A bold circular blue postmark is prominently applied across the centre of the stamp.
Denomination: 1 centésimo. Country: Panama. Printed by Thomas De La Rue & Co. Ltd., London (imprint visible at foot). Condition: Used with heavy postmark — perforations complete and evenly trimmed, paper sound.
