Edited by Charles Holme, founder and editor of The Studio magazine. Published simultaneously in London, Paris, and New York — a prestige art publication of the Edwardian era.

The book bears the armorial bookplate of Fredk. Islay Pitman, adding historical provenance interest. The cover features gilt lettering on grey cloth boards. Interior pages are clean and well-preserved for the age of the volume.
